Ted is the bi-product of a magical wish to of a young boy, Johnny, to bring his teddy bear to life so they can be best friends. His wish is granted, and at 35 years old, him and Ted are still going strong. Ted's antics though, are getting in the way of John and his girlfriend Lori's life. Lori wants to get closer to John, but its hard when he's still afraid of thunder and his teddy bear sneaks into their bed to make him feel better. John is stuck at a crappy job, making bad life choices like snorting coke with Flash Gordan. Ted moves out and gets a job to give John and Lori a chance at their life together, but after a kidnapping; they all realize that they were suppose to enjoy life together.

Soooo, this movie is not the best....its a lot like Family Guy/The Cleveland Show with a sidekick that isn't human. The other toss of the coin though...it's hilarious to see some of the situations that plays out for these best friends. We all have that best friend who gets us in trouble, but to see it from the point of view of an inanimate object is priceless, and something we don't see a whole heck of a lot. Take a chance to watch Ted, you'll get more interesting songs like the 'Thunder Buddies' one.
