SPOILERS.
An offbeat romantic, dramatic-comedy about two individuals and love. Boy meets girl, girl doesn't believe in true love, boy does. Boy gets heart crushed by girl who gets married. Meets new girl while interviewing for new job. Literally, this is how the whole story goes. Summer is a girl who has always relied on herself and isn't a sucker for true love. Tom is what I call a 'Ted Mosby' (HIMYM reference.) He is a budding architect, who wants to fall in love, and have a family, but hasn't met the right one...until Summer (or so he thinks.) At first he loves everything about her, then he later takes his statements of his life and turns them into how he hates her. This is literally how the how story goes. Flashes forwards and backwards about times they loved each other and the future where Tom is a miserable wreck.

She's a Scumbag Steve.
So, its pretty freaking hard not to hate Summer's guts at the end of this movie. I was kind of with Summer the whole time. She was like "I don't want to get serious. I want to be friends. Blah blah." and Tom's all "No, I want relationship." This would've made Tom look like the friend who didn't want to be friendzoned, if Summer didn't get herself goddamn married at the end. You don't want a relationship, then literally find one with the next guy? Jesus woman!

Also, this movie had a very basic plot structure and was simple to follow. I'm not gonna lie, I played lots of Candy Crush Saga while this movie was going on, and I got the major gist of it, and really didn't miss anything major. This movie is eh at best, and the fact that everyone should hate Summer, that's what makes this slightly better.
