Rating: 10 out of 10.
Seriously, its my favorite show...tied with Firefly and Doctor Who.
Archer follows the story of a government intelligence agency, who....let's just say, isn't plain good at their jobs at all. Sterling Archer and his mother, Malory Archer, constantly butt heads, but Sterling is given the best missions because of his momma boy's status. Lana is the lovely lady whose more lethal than crocodiles and with 'truckasaurus' hands. Ray Gillette is a gay, southern, and off-and-on crippled agent. Cyril Figgus is the accountant turned agent. Cheryl/Carol is the receptionist whose crazy, but also happens to be loaded with dough. Pam Poovey is in charge of HR and has a 'big mouth' and blabs to everyone. Lastly, there is Dr. Krieger, the mad scientist whose made cyber girlfriends, bionic legs, and tried to give humans ant powers. He may also be rumored to be a genetic clone of Hitler....but with a better beard/mustache combo. Put these alcoholic, vain, selfish, and slightly eccentric characters together, and you have one hell of an interesting spy agency.
So just how funny is this show? I put on an episode every single day without fail...and its what I fall asleep to at night. It's a delight...it's a treat. I really don't know what to say besides, I love this show. Even on a 'slow' episode there is also a joke that someone cracks, someone says something inappropriate, racist, sexists, just plain crude, or make fun of something like tentacle porn. I've attached a clip below of some of the 'best' moments. I think a few lines are missing that put it over the top, but its definitely a show worth every second watching.
