Trailer Park Boys (TV SHOW)

L-R Julian, Bubbles, and Ricky.
TRAILER PARK BOYS
Season One
Format: Netflix
Genre: Mockumentary, Comedy, Drama, Let's be real...it has everything

Rating: 10 out of 10.

The season opens up on two guys getting out of jail, our main protagonists; Julian and Ricky. The two guys are fighting, and just not getting along. Ricky and Julian get back to Sunnyvale Trailer Park, where Julian still has his trailer and Ricky begins living out of a car. Rick is trying to get back with baby mama Lucy, for the sake of their kid Trinity, though you know that's not the only reason. They meet up with Bubbles, a guy who wears Coke-bottle glasses, drops the f-bomb all the time (though all of them seem to be in that habit) and loves kitties....a lot. Through the course of the season; Julian always has a drink in his hand and is the brains of the operation because of his fancy 'book-learning' (he went to community college,) Ricky is getting to hair-brained schemes and petty theft to keep his family together, and Bubbles is just a weird dude who keeps finding cats. The trio brings hell to Sunnyvale Trailer Park every day, with this interesting clash of characters and all who reside in the park.

Steve French, the bobcat.
Normally, I'm not a fan of shows that have lesser production values...but the sheer wit and dry sarcasm of this show is to die for. This is probably one of the funniest shows I've ever seen, and its always in my Netflix 'My List' because when I'm feeling down, some crazy Canadian antics are always up my ally. From being generally drunk and eating chicken fingers, to extravagant dope growing operations, to shoot outs, to bossing around Corey and Trevor, and to my favorite, J-ROC....every episode is just crazy and hilarious in every possible way. If you are still sitting around reading this blog, you need to get up, turn it off and go watch Trailer Park Boys...seriously. White trash goodness can not get much better than this....in fact, it really can't.
